Chariot = Army

Ex. 14:17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall go in after them: and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his army, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

Ex. 14:28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, even all the army of Pharaoh that went in after them into the sea; there remained not so much as one of them.

Chariot = Strength

Josh. 17:18 but the hill-country shall be thine; for though it is a forest, thou shalt cut it down, and the goings out thereof shall be thine; for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron, and though they are strong.

1Chr. 28:18 and for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the pattern of the chariot, even the cherubim, that spread out their wings, and covered the ark of the covenant of the Lrd.
