Bow = Long-Range Warfare

The bow is a weapon of war used to shoot arrows a far distance, which symbolizes warfare against distant lands.

Psa. 46:9  He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth;   He breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; He burneth the chariots in the fire.

Jer. 49:35 Thus says the Lrd of hosts: “Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the mainstay of their might.

Hos. 2:18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the birds of the heavens, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the land, and will make them to lie down safely.
