Seven Heads

Revelation equates the seven heads with seven mountains and seven kings.

Rev. 17:9-10 Here is the mind that hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth: and they are seven kings; the five are fallen, the one is, the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a little while.

Four Heads

After Alexander the Great of the Macedonian Greek Empire died, his kingdom was divided among four Greek kings. Daniel equates the four kings of the Greek Empire with four heads.

Dan. 7:6 After this I beheld, and, lo, another, like a leopard, which had upon its back four wings of a bird; the beast had also four heads; and language [*dominion] was given to it.

Dan. 8:21-22 And the rough he-goat is the king of Greece: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. And as for that which was broken, in the place whereof four stood up, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.

Dan. 11:3-4 And a mighty king [the king of Greece] shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion wherewith he ruled; for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others besides these.
